Science- is the systematize body of knowledge based on facts & human experiences.

Science from the Latin word scientia meaning "knowledge".

Technology- is a broad term that refers both to artifacts created by humans, such as machines, and the methods used to create those artifacts.. More broadly, technology can be used to refer to a way of doing something or a means of organization: for instance, democracy might be considered a social technology.

Technology comes from the Greek technologia, which is a combination of "techne", meaning "craft", and logia, meaning "saying".

The advantages of Science & Technology are:

1. It will make our life simpler.
2. It helps us to organize our daily activities.
3. It helps our job can be done faster.
4. It helps us to communicate easier with other people.
5. It helps us to know and understand other culture and society better.

By discovering Science, scientists are able to create something which can improve the quality of our lives immeasurably; for example, computers, telephones, televisions, airplanes and the list goes on. With the discovery of these inventions, people can fulfill their aspirations much more easily. As we know, science has been a great help to our country. It can turn a small, poor country to a progressive one. Science is a man's only hope against diseases. Without the inventions of science and the unending efforts of scientists, many sickness and diseases like malaria,cancer and etc. were considered as incurable sickness and diseases in the past would be conquered. Technology is so popular and economically profitable that is advantages are publicized regularly. These include its ability to enhance education and communication. The technology is the practical science. With the use of technology you can make your daily work easy. To find out use and technology, you have to read about every department of life like, business, education, health, and communication etc. For example in case of education. know teachers are using multimedia for teaching instead of board and charts which saves time on the class room. In business, one computer is having information's about his all customers. Science has brought about several outstanding advantages to mankind. The vast improvements made in the field of medicine have served to lengthen our life expectancy and to reduce the rate of infant mortality. The discovery of mechanization, better seeds, better techniques of irrigation and pest control, has worked to increase productivity levels on farms. In transportation, railway, modern ocean liner, jet plane, and motor vehicle have made our lives more comfortable and provided great possibilities for modern commercial development and industrialization. The invention of the computer has assisted the process of calculation in laboratories.
The disadvantages of Science & Technology are:
1. It can be easily manipulated by irresponsible persons.
2. We'll be too dependent on it. When technology fails, we are helpless (in one way or another)
3. Sometimes, it affects our health and lifestyles (we'll be complacent and lazy. The chemicals are hazardous)
4. It destroys our simple and healthy life (I miss the traditional style of living).
5. Invasion of our privacy.

If at one hand, science and technology has brought a lot of wonders for us then one the other hand, there are disadvantages of science and technology as well. Firstly, it has increased the anxiety in our lives. Secondly, when technology goes in the wrong hands then it can negatively impact society such as the increasing rate of cyder crime, hacking, stealing of personal information and pornography websites. Thirdly, technology has also increased the alternatives and opportunities for the terrorists. Moreover, technology has suppressed our physical efforts and we are getting more luxurious and comfort living. The economies which lag behind in incorporating new technologies are considered poor economies and their progress in the world is hindered. Science has been responsible for pollution and has given us the nuclear bomb which threatens our very existence. But in this also fault lies not with science, but rather with mans intention to misuse the discoveries of science. Science is not inherently good or evil. It is a way to acquire knowledge systematically. The disadvantage of the new mobile phones are too many can communicate with us all at the same time. It can create scams and spamming in a lot of ways. The youth has also been very much addicted to gadgets that they get to spend too much time with it. A disadvantage of the production that is the energy that it uses. It consumes a lot of energy to run the machines. And so, we need more fuel, and it will then leave a lot of waste and pollution to our environment. It is the most destructive price for our today's technology. We cannot avoid these disadvantages that goes along with the advantages of technology. There are so may improvements we are having now, but still, we need to comply with what they cost in return. It is all part of the gambling we do with the environment for the sake of living an easier life.
